About Us

August Hope Ministries equips churches to help individuals and families carry the cross of miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth, infant loss, and infertility. We prepare church teams to help the bereaved receive healing then walk through their grief journey, ready to overcome trials they may face.

The vision for the ministry was birthed from the realization that there currently is little or no support or recognition within Christian churches for families who have experienced one of these tragedies, much less programs specifically created for them that operate on a frequent basis.

Faith in God does not keep us from feeling pain, nor does our faith guarantee happiness. Faith in God carries us through our pain and sustains us in the absence of happiness.

Even for the most mature Christian, grief can bring struggle. You know the scriptures and have repeatedly heard who God is to those in mourning, yet some times it does not bring comfort. You see, learning about God and experiencing Him as one who is mourning are two completely different things.

Our ministry strives to reacquaint the bereaved with the one true God who loves us most. We go deep into scripture and allow Him to penetrate our souls and restructure our broken hearts into something beautiful.

Our goal is to create an international network of churches that provide Healing Days and Hope Groups for their congregations and communities. Help us bring reconciliation with God and begin the healing process.

About our Founder

The lost opportunity to mother a child on this side of eternity is one I know all too well. Having experienced multiple miscarriages and an ectopic pregnancy, the mission of August Hope Ministries is one close to my heart. With each failed pregnancy, I was handed several brochures for various support groups. However, there was a noticeable omission in the pile: a specialized support group for women based at a church.

God showed me that grief is a unique and individual experience, so the approach to healing should be the same. Many women lose their baby early in pregnancy, leaving them with nothing tangible to validate their grief. This makes traditional grief support groups difficult for them.

I have made it my mission to offer women the same healing that Christ gave me. Using biblical truth and practical techniques, I have helped countless individuals and their families regain hope and overcome their grief. I firmly believe it is God’s desire to bring this specialized ministry to churches across the globe.
